Athens

We have arrived safely in Athens! My first visit of the city in 2020 was filled with fond memories. This time it is really fun to take my family around, visit my FB friend George who cut my hair back in 2020, and see things with a new perspective. I still love the relaxing vibe of the city, and the Acropolis is still as impressive as before.

Carina posting on the Areopagus (Mar’s Hill). The is the site of the account in the book of Acts, where he explained the reasoning for his belief in the One True God, and made the first proclamation of faith in Jesus Christ.

We stayed at a hotel in the Plaka neighborhood. Here is a view of Tiffany posting in front of the Church of Panagia Kapnikarea, one of the oldest surviving churches in Athens (built c.a. 11th century AD).
