Having rested for 2 days, we are ready to venture into Central London! Our cousin lives in Taddington, which is in the western side of London. It takes about an hour to ride public transit out into the City.
We took the over-ground railway from Taddington to Waterloo. From the Waterloo train station, we passed by the London Eye and arrived on the Westminster Bridge. The kids and I got separated while we were taking photos. We reunited on one side of the bridge, and took a selfie of the Big Ben Tower and the Parliament Buildings.Queen Boudica’s statue, with the London Eye in the backgroundThe façade of the Westminster AbbeyUnlike in the summer time, where the changing of the guard at the Buckingham Palace takes place daily, in the winter time it only happens every other day (when it is not raining).
